The relentless efforts by members in the Province continue to yield positive results as joint intelligence driven clean-up operations secured multiple arrests and seizures.

This operation was up and running until 11 June 2017 composed of various Police Units aiming to eradicate trio crimes, theft of cars, possession of unlicensed firearms and various other serious crimes where ten (10) stolen cars and four illegal firearms were recovered.

In the Sesshego cluster outside Polokwane ,a 26 year old suspect was arrested for theft of motor vehicles and the following vehicles were seized :

* One red Toyota Corolla, stolen at Westonaria in the Gauteng Province.
* One grey Toyota corolla, engine numbers were tampered with.
* One black Jeep Cherokee, engine numbers were tampered with.
* One white Mercedes Benz Vito engine numbers were tampered with.

The estimated value of these four recovered vehicles is over R600 000.
In Ga-Mashashane village outside Polokwane, three suspects aged between 26 and 35 were arrested for a series of bussiness robberies, ATM bombings which they committed in the Lebowakgomo, Polokwane and Seshego Policing areas recently.

The BMW vehicle that was used during the commission of these crimes was also recovered with a number of false registration number plates inside.

Meanwhile in Dennilton, Nebo and Groblesdal, two suspects aged 27 and 43 were arrested for several cases of carjacking and theft of motor vehicles and the following were recovered:

* Four stolen cars which were reportedly stolen in Pretoria West, Tembisa and Germiston in the Gauteng Province.
In Tubatse, Thohoyandou, Tzaneen, Dennilton, Mahwelereng, Westernburg, BelaBela, Mokopane, Saselamani and Makhado Policing areas, thirty three (33) suspects aged between 21 and 44 were arrested for possession of stolen motor vehicles, common robberies, house robberies, business robberies, etc. and the following were recovered :
* Two (02) stolen cars.
* Four (04) firearms and ammunition.
* Four(04) cell phones.

The suspects arrested during this operation will appear before various Magistrate Courts soon.
