In the Makhado Policing area outside Thohoyandou, three suspects aged between 24 and 36 were arrested for the possession of an unlicensed firearm and suspected stolen property and possession of dangerous weapons after they were intercepted during a Tactical Intelligence led joint operation conducted in the Makhado CBD.
During this operation, the following were confiscated, 1 x firearm pistol, 1 x magazine, 3 x cellphones, 1x knife.
The suspects will appear before the Makhado Magistrate Court soon.
Police investigations are still continuing.
