Operation Fiela II, 1238 suspects arrested across Limpopo

The operational strategies by the police in Limpopo keep bearing fruitful results through the Intelligence led joint operations which were up and running in all the Clusters until this morning on 30 July 2018.

During these operations, 1238 suspects, aged between 19 and 68 were arrested for variable crime incidents ranging from murder, attempted murder, rape, armed robbery, burglary residence, business robbery, business burglary, escape from lawful custody, and theft of motor vehicle, theft out of motor vehicle to possession of dagga, drugs and suspected stolen properties.

Some of the arrested suspects have already appeared before various Magistrate Courts across the Province and others will still appear.

The Limpopo Provincial Commissioner Lt General Nneke Ledwaba commended the police officials who worked tirelessly until the apprehension of these suspects in ensuring safety to the masses of this Province.
