Six suspects arrested for vandalising Vodacom shops

On 6 December 2018, the Police in Polokwane arrested six suspects for Malicious Damage to Property following acts of vandalism that took place at two Vodacom shops at The Mall of the North. According to the information received, the suspects allegedly invaded the shops on Sunday 2 December 2018, at about 11h50 and started damaging the properties.

The damage caused is estimated at R900 000.00.

The suspects aged between 25 and 45 will appear in Polokwane magistrate’s court on Thursday afternoon 2018-12-07, facing charges of Malicious Damage to Property.

The motive for this vandalism is unknown at this stage but police investigations are continuing. More arrests are expected.
