The newly founded Afrika Mayibuye Movement will conduct induction programs across all nine provinces to prepare for the 2026 local government elections, the party’s leader has announced.
Party founder and leader Floyd Shivambu made the announcement during the movement’s inaugural provincial induction program, held in Polokwane, Limpopo.
Shivambu stated that the party’s leadership chose to begin its nationwide campaign in Limpopo, identifying the province as the party’s strongest electoral hold.
The inductions are intended to establish and prepare party structures ahead of the upcoming polls.
