Murderer sought after skipping bail, Thohoyandou

The Police at Vhulaudzi outside Thohoyandou are looking for a 31 year old fugitive, Dorobo Rodney Tshivhula, who is being sought for murder and failing to comply with bail conditions. The suspect was granted bail by Dzanani magistrate court and was scheduled to appear again before the Thohoyandou High Court on the 17 September 2018.

He never did appear and the police have since launched a manhunt, searching for him.

The suspect was earlier arrested after he was positively linked to an incident that occured last year 2017 in which his 29 year old partner, Suzan Mabala was murdered at Phadzima village.

The deceased was reported missing on 19 April 2017, and subsequently, a search operation ensued. Her body was on 13 May 2017,, found dumped in the nearby bushes, already in a state of decomposition. This incident led to the torching of Vhulaudzi Police Station by a group of community members.
