The Police in Haenertzburg outside Tzaneen have launched a manhunt for the three awaiting trial prisoners who escaped from the Police holding cells during the night.
This incident was uncovered during a routine check by the Police in and around the cells and the circumstances of their escape are still being investigated.
The ESCAPEES were identified as follows:
– Abel Modiba aged 27 years old who was arrested for two house robberies.
– Thomas Nkuna aged 33 years who was arrested for two house robberies.
– Elia Makgaba aged 28 years who was arrested for armed robbery.
A case of escaping from lawful custody is opened and investigation continues.
