The Limpopo Provincial Tracking Team have launched a massive manhunt for a group of armed suspects who attacked and attempted to rob a cash-in-transit vehicle on 26 June 2017 at about 07:00.

It is alleged that the cash-in-transit vehicle was travelling along the R528 Georges Valley Road between Haenertzburg and Tzaneen road, when three cars blocked the van, forced it off the road and subsequently started shooting it with rifles several times until they fled the scene without any cash.

During this incident, there was cross-fire between the security officers and the suspects where seemingly some of these suspects were shot and injured but their accomplices took the injured suspects away.
We are therefore calling upon members of the community who may see or come across a person/s with the gunshot wounds coming for consultation at any medical facility, to contact Captain Boshomane at 0798945501 or the nearest Police Station.
