A farm attack occurred just outside Mokopane in the Persy Fyfe area just after 9 o’clock in the morning on 22 October 2023.
Two armed suspects, one with a handgun and the other with a knife, surprised the owner in the house, he was tied up in the room.
He was assaulted and the suspects demanded money, after which he said that he had no money.
The suspects ransacked the house and left with an air rifle, radio set, food and lots of household items.
The owner freed himself and raised the alarm. Three sets tracks were followed for several kilometers to the nearest settlement where they were lost.
Involved institutions: HPG Mokopane, Bassopa security, SAPS Mokopane Afriforum and local farmers. The investigation is ongoing.
