Man hijacked, killed then dumped in Letaba river

In Lulekani, outside Phalaborwa, four suspects aged between 16 and 26 were apprehended for murder and carjacking. Their arrest emanated from an incident where they allegedly hijacked a man, killed him and thrown his body in the Letaba river.

The deceased’s hijacked Toyota Tazz was also recovered.

The arrested suspects during these operations will soon appear before the Lulekani Magistrate Court.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has commended the Saps members and other role players who participated during this operation on the job well done.

The Police investigations are still continuing.
