The Police in Saselamani near Malamulele are investigating the death of a couple which occurred at Mhingaville.
It is alleged that on 1 April 2018 at about 17:00, a couple was found dead in their house after the man was found hanged inside the house and his wife, was found lying dead inside the toilet with multiple wounds throughout her body.
The exact date and time of their death is not known because members of the community observed flies around the couple’s house after they were last seen three days back and summoned the Police who then reacted swiftly.
The motive behind this incident and the circumstances thereof is still not clear at this stage but domestic violence may not be ruled out.
Members of the community are still encouraged to consult their local professionals for intervention whenever they are in any domestic related situation rather that resorting to violence.
The Police investigations are continuing.
