Man (74) attacked with a saw and knife during smallholding attack

On Thursday, February 23, around 16H30, Mr. Kenneth Leggo (74) was attacked and overpowered by two suspects on his property situated in Tzaneen.

The suspects attacked Leggo with a saw and a knife before fleeing with three vehicle batteries, two solar batteries, a Dell Laptop, a computer screen and two mobile phones.

Mr. Leggo managed to crawl to a neighbor’s house during the night and was taken to the hospital around 04H00 this morning.

The suspects are still at large and the police are investigating the matter.
