POLOKWANE – The Police in Westenburg outside Polokwane are seeking the assistance of the public in an ongoing investigation following the discovery of the body of an unidentified African male with multiple injuries. The gruesome discovery was made on Wednesday 02 August 2023 at approximately 11:30 at the bus terminal in Polokwane City.

The Police were alerted to the scene after receiving a report from the community. Upon arrival, the Police discovered the lifeless body of the individual, with noticeable several injuries.

At this present moment, the identity of the deceased is unknown. Preliminary investigation suggests that the deceased is in his twenties and he was wearing blue jeans, blue t-shirt and All-star tekkies.

Police have opened a case of murder and the exact cause of death is still under investigation.

We are appealing to anyone who may have information pertaining to this incident or who may assist with identifying the deceased to come forward and assist us in the investigation.
