On 06 April 2017 at about 12:40 at alleged foreigner was stripped of his clothes and beaten to death inside the Onder and Devenish taxi rank in Polokwane. His body was lying just outside the entrance of the rank.
His brother was also stripped naked and beaten but was saved by the SAPS.
Not far from the rank in Superbia the vehicle a VW Polo alleged to belong to the 2 brothers was set alight.
Stone throwing was also reported at Goseame and at the back of CTM .
