FF Plus in Limpopo once again calls on rural communities to be vigilant

The FF Plus in Limpopo is urgently calling on rural communities in the province to intensify their vigilance after yet another farm attack took place in the early morning hours, on 7 September 2020, the target was the well-known Botha family of Joe Botha Farming (citrus producers) in Marble Hall.

Mr Joe Botha Jnr’s vehicle, which was stolen, has since been found but valuables, like laptops and cell phones, are still missing.

The people of rural communities are urged to join their local neighbourhood and farm watches who cooperate with the police to achieve the common goal of ensuring that these areas are safe and secure.

The FF Plus has always been serious about addressing farm attacks and insists that the rural safety plan, which makes provision for additional staff members to be appointed for specialised rural-safety units, must be executed.
