The joint operation festive season is still up and running throughout this Province where in the Lebowakgomo Policing area outside Polokwane it was led by the Station Commander Colonel Kgwedi where the stop and searches, patrols and road blocks especially in the crime infested areas were conducted.
Several suspects were arrested for various crimes.
In the Hlanganani Policing area outside Giyani, a hijacked Toyota corolla was recovered in few minutes after the ordeal and manhunt for the suspects is still on.
Meanwhile in the Waterpoort area, a 26 year old suspect was arrested for possession of suspected stolen properties and rolls of copper cables were confiscated.
Meanwhile, the Intelligence led joint operations were also conducted in the Lephalale ,Lebowakgomo, Burgersfort, Makhado ,Seshego and Lulekani Policing areas which led to the arrest of 17 suspects aged between 23 and 34 years. Several suspected stolen property was recovered.
The arrested suspects during these operations have started appearing before different Magistrate Courts throughout this Province.
