On Monday, February 6, a farmer was horrifically assaulted by three dangerous suspects in the early hours of this morning, on his farm situated in Ellisras.
The farmer was found to be in a serious condition much later after the attack and died on route to the hospital.
It is reported that the suspects stole the farmer’s vehicle, a white Isuzu pickup with registration number BYZ077L that has a green stripe on the side. Should the public spot the vehicle, the information should be passed onto the police.
Both the Police and Heritage Protection Group are following up on leads. No further information is available.
