Police are searching for a man (33) that was previously arrested for the murder of Hennie Bonnema (62), a farmer from Levubu area in Limpopo, which occured in October 2016.
Bonnema (62) was attacked outside his farm house after returning from dinner. He was stabbed and beaten to death.
The suspect Walter Maringa, who was arrested shortly after the murder along with two other suspects, appeared in the Vuwani magistrates court and was released on R5000 bail.
He was again required to appear in court on 27 December 2017 but never arrived. A warrant for his arrest was issued. He is suspected to be hiding in Zimbabwe and is possibly connected to other farm murders in and around the Levubu area.
