A farm murder took place on the night of 27 November 2020, at 20:25, at Bush Boys Camp in Tonteldoos, near Roossenekal and 20 km northwest of Dullstroom, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Mr Pretorius and his wife, from Pretoria, had booked in for the weekend at the camp and after arriving at their chalet, they heard banging on the window.
Mr Pretorius pulled open the curtain to see what was going on and saw three attackers standing outside window. One of the suspects aimed a weapon at Mr Pretorius, fired one shot that hit Mr Pretorius in the neck.
The farm owner, Mr Joe Holmes, heard the shot and went to investigate where he found Mr Pretorius. All role players, including local farmers responded but there were no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
