A farm attack took place on 13 August 2021, at 06:20, on a smallholding in Ottoshoogte, Schoemansdal just outside of Louis Trichardt, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. A woman had just left her home in her vehicle when two attackers open fire on her.
The woman survived and was hit in the shoulder.
The woman fled and summoned assistance whilst on the road to town where she was assisted and hospitalised for treatment.
All role players responded to the attack but there were no arrests. People in the Schoemansdal area have been asked to be extra cautious and be on the lookout for any suspicious persons.
People are also reminded to call for assistance should they suspect anything and to not go outside to investigate, especially at night.
The police are investigating the attack.
