A farm attack took place on 4 September 2018, at about 20:15 in Levubu, Limpopo. Petro en Callie Erasmus were attacked by 4 intruders, of which at least one was armed with a handgun. They cut the fences to gain access and then tied up the gardener, domestic worker and Petro with wire.

One suspect was wearing a green overall top and pants, one suspect was wearing a green overall pants and black jacket with a red logo, he also had moustache and beard.

A TV and other electronic items ware were stolen, together with cash, and three firearms (2× loaded revolvers and a Mini ‘Ruger’ with rounds). The robbed items were loaded into the families white BMW X5 Reg: No CJY792L.

And they fled the scene direction Thohoyandou. Nobody was physically injured during the attack.

An emergency call to the farm watch group of Levubu as well as SAPS, and their prompt response assured the recovery of the vehicle with the stolen property shortly after it was spotted by a farm watch member in the Tshakhuma area.
One suspect was arrested and the attack is being investigated.
