On 15 April 2018, at approximately 12:00 an attack took place on the Macklendrift farm near the ATKV eiland resort in the Hans Merensky area.
Three black males stabbed a security guard with a knife and he has been admitted to a hospital in Letaba.
The attackers ransacked the house and fortunately the family was not home. They stole electrical appliances and other household items.
Two of the attackers were of slender build and the third washeavy set with a light complexion.
Police are investigating the attack.
