On Sunday, February 5, an elderly man, Brian Wesley was assaulted during an attack by three suspects who accessed his home situated in the Letsitele area, Tzaneen, Limpopo.
Brian Wesley, the tenant on the farm California plot 42, was at home alone as the owner of the farm was away for the weekend. Three suspects gained access and assaulted him severely.
The suspects left with a safe containing a shotgun, a revolver, a 303 hunting rifle, and jewelry.
Brian Wesly was taken to the Letaba Hospital and is in a coma due to the severity of the injuries sustained.
It is reported that the suspects fled on foot in the direction of Mamitwa.
The Police arrived on the scene and have launched a massive manhunt for the suspects.
The investigation continues and the suspects are still at large.
