A farm attack took place on the night of 25 July 2020, in Houtboschdorp, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. Mr Ludwig Kietzmann and his wife Hester were attacked in their farmhouse by three attackers wielding pistols. Mrs Kietzmann suffered a severe gash over her eye during the assault after being pistol-whipped.
The house help was also overpowered, assaulted, tied up and robbed in her room. The couple were held at gunpoint while the attackers demanded money. After robbing the three occupants the attackers fled the scene.
The local farmers and police responded but there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
