A farm attack took place on 11 September 2019, in Ellisras, Limpopo province. A attacker climbed through a window of the home, threatened a female victim with a broken bottle and attempted to rape her. Fortunately a neighbour stopped at the house during the attack causing the attacker to flee. The woman did however suffer minor injuries and was deeply traumatised.
The attacker robbed of her cash before fleeing, the police are investigating. There have been no arrests and there is no other information available at this stage.
