A farm attack took place on 20 October 2020, at 00:30, in Duiwelskloof, outside Tzaneen, in the Limpopo province of South Africa. A woman and her domestic worker were attacked on their farm situated along the gravel road leading to Alon. Three attackers broke open the back gate then tripped the power to the home, broke open the front security gate and door and entered the house.
The husband of the woman was not home at the time as he was on an international business trip. His wife and domestic worker were alone. The attackers overpowered and assaulted the two woman, tied up the domestic worker and attempted to tie up the wife who fought back. They assaulted her with steel rods.
The attackers then fled the scene on foot to the dirt road where indications are that they were picked up by a vehicle. They stole four cell phones, a laptop and a TV.
Both the women were both rushed to hospital after all role players responded.
There is no other information available at this stage. Police are investigating but there have been no arrests.
