On February 2, around 20H00 an elderly lady, Mrs. Patts Truter (77) was found dead in the garage of her home situated in Golf Park Naboomspruit.
Truter was last seen alive on Thursday, February 2.
It appears as though Truter was strangled with a rope, and she was lying on the floor covered with a towel and a carpet. All the doors and windows were closed and there was no sign of forced entry.
There is no indication of how many suspects were involved at this stage.
The police have opened up a case of murder under case number CAS. 26/02/2017 and appeal to the public to come forward with information relating to this incident.
