A 75-year-old female was attacked on her farm in the Kalkheuwel area. Bela-Bela Municipality, on Sunday, July 30, 2017.
Two armed suspects overpowered the elderly victim, tied her up and threw a blanket over her before ransacking the house.
The victim managed to free herself and raised the alarm.
The community security and police swiftly responded to the incident.
At this stage, it is unclear what the suspects stole.
The police are investigating the incident, and the suspects are still at large.
