The police in Thohoyandou have launched a massive manhunt for the suspects who broke into the premises of a Security Company and stole 19 firearms and an undisclosed number of ammunition.

The incident allegedly took place at Tswinga Location outside Thohoyandou.

According to official reports, a cleaner employed by the company discovered that the premises were broken into when she reported on duty at 07h30 on the morning of 22 December 2017.

She then called the owner who alerted the police. The suspects are believed to have used an object to grind open the burglar door and the safe.

All nineteen firearms that were stolen are pistols.
