The border post at Beitbridge has only two computers in operation instead of the sixteen as prescribed.

Outdated technology also leads to further problems and travelers endure long hours of delays due to the situation.

The African way of bribery is apparently in operation where a R200 note can get you through faster while Zimbabweans are free to “walk through” to South Africa without any processing.
