About an hour ago two suspects entered a farm at Lushof. The suspects firstly told a worker that they are looking for a job. The suspects then asked the worker to call one of the house owners, he told them that the people living here is renting and is not the land owner.
The suspects produced firearms and pushed the worker to the ground. He shouted for help. A resident came out and saw the armed suspects. He ran back in his house and fetched his own firearm to assist the helpless worker. When he came out the suspects saw that he was armed and fled over the fence. The resident then followed them.
The suspects got into a Taxi and was dropped in town at a filling station. The resident chased the suspects. One suspect got away. The second suspect was warned to stop and lie down but he refused. The suspect was shot in the leg by the community member who followed them from the scene of the crime.
