In ensuring a safe and secure festive season to all the citizens of this Province, the intelligence led joint operations continue to sweep all the streets out of any criminality targeting mainly the crime infested areas without leaving any stone unturned.
During this operations, six suspects aged between 24 and 36 years were arrested for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicles and recovered three cars which were reported stolen as follows: Ford Ranger which was stolen at Makhado, Hyundai Accent which was stolen in Tubatse, Toyota Hilux which was stolen in Westenburg
Meanwhile this operation was conducted at Ga-Masemola where a 26 year old man was arrested for possession of unlicensed firearm and dagga and the following were recovered: One revolver and three plastics full of dagga
The arrested suspects will appear before different Magistrates’ Courts soon.
