The Police in Thohoyandou have launched a manhunt for the suspect who allegedly murdered a 27-year-old man at Muraga village on Saturday 23 April 2022 at around 07:30.

The suspect allegedly went to the victim’s home and demanded his cellphone, which he alleged he took it the previous day. An argument ensued and suddenly, the suspect produced a sharp instrument and allegedly stabbed the victim in front of his father. He thereafter fled from the scene.

The family took the victim to a local clinic where he died on arrival and the Police were then alerted about the incident.

A case of murder was opened and the manhunt immediately activated.

Police request Ndou Ntshavheni Michael (37) to avail himself at the nearest Police Station as it is believed that he can assist with investigations.
