Limpopo SAPS Capricorn District Tracing Team arrested a 24-year-old suspect linked to a farm attack and business robbery during a Tactical Operation Tswara Tsotsi conducted in Pretoria, Olievenhoutbosch from 27 July 2023 until 30 July 2023.

According to information, the suspect was an employee at a farm in Alldays.

In April 2023, four suspects overpowered the wife of the farmer and forced their way in the farm house and took a firearm, cellphone and cash before fleeing the scene on foot joined by the farm employee.

Investigations revealed that this suspect left with the farm attackers on that day.

He was traced and arrested at Pretoria, Olievenhoutbosch in Gauteng Province.

His three accomplices were arrested in June 2023 in Pretoria and they were remanded in custody.

They are Shakes Ndlovu, Phineas Ndlovu and Petrus Sithole.

Their case is remanded to Thursday, 21 September 2023 for further investigation.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has welcomed the arrest and praised the members for working tirelessly to trace and arrests the perpetrators.

The fourth suspect is detained at Alldays and he will soon appear before the Senwabarwana Magistrate’s Court.

The Police investigations are still continuing.
