The members of Limpopo High Patrol Team (LHP) while conducting patrol duties in Capricorn District on Saturday 4 March 2023 nabbed four suspects aged between 23 and 48 for possession and dealing in drugs.
The first incident involved a 35-year-old male suspect who was arrested while inside a white VW motor sedan for possession of twenty five 25 sachets of nyaope drugs with an estimated street value of R2000.
Another arrest was executed in the Westenburg policing area after police received information about a 48-year-old suspect who was driving a white Chevrolet motor vehicle and suspected to be selling drugs.
Sachets of Crystal Meth and Nyaope drugs were seized during his arrest. The same suspect will further face charges of resisting arrest while the vehicle used was also confiscated.
The LHP team were still busy patrolling the hot spots areas under Mankweng policing precinct at Paledi mall when they observed a suspicious group of male individuals seated inside a Wendy house.
Those individuals were searched and police discovered 43 sachets of nyaope drugs from one of the suspects and he was arrested on the spot.
Furthermore, a 24-year-old male was nabbed for possession of 35 sachets of drugs and an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be generated from the illegal selling of drugs in the Mankweng policing area.
