BLF (Black Land First Land) radical leader Andile Mngxitama in his media statement threatened that his organization has launched extensive efforts to “reclaim” land that he believed was stolen from blacks.
According to him, they are currently systematically collecting only particles here and there, but on the evening of December 31, 2107, they will move in and occupy a large scale of land.
On Saturday, BLF will start in the East Rand with their efforts to “take back” land.
BLF has close ties with the controversial Gupta brothers.
Meanwhile, the agricultural union, TLU SA, will hold its general council meeting next week, focusing on the land issue.
Should BLF not be stopped quickly, a very explosive situation may develop as farmers will not decrease the size of their land or leave the land unoccupied.
