Blue Security community and media liaison officer Andreas Mathios said five suspects entered the shop just before 2pm and one of them allegedly attempted to shoplift an item from the store. “The owner of the shop saw this and confronted the suspects, who then turned on him and stabbed him in the face. The suspects fled with what appeared to be a large packet of chips. The victim sustained minor stab injuries to his face,” Mathios said.
