At approximately 08H28 Friday Morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a person that had been knocked down by a Train at the Rushbrook railway in Pietermaritzburg.
Upon arrival another private ambulance service was already in attendance treating the patient.
The patient sustained a head injury and was treated by an Advanced Life Support Paramedic.
The patient was transported by the private ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
