A woman believed to be in her 40’s was treated yesterday by paramedics after having been wounded in a stabbing incident in Soldiers Way, Durban.
ER24 paramedics were flagged down by police. Upon arrival, paramedics found the woman on the side of the road near a bridge. She had sustained deep wounds to her left hand.
She was treated by paramedics and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown.
Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
This is the second serious stabbing incident that ER24 paramedics attended to in KwaZulu-Natal since the previous night.
