Sea View, Durban – Just before 7 a.m. this morning, Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedics responded to a shooting incident at the intersection of Wakesleigh Road and Cliffview Road in the Sea View area.
Upon arrival, paramedics discovered a woman in her thirties who had sustained a gunshot wound to her arm. Advanced Life Support Paramedics, alongside EMRS Medics, worked to stabilize her before she was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Preliminary reports indicate that unknown men allegedly attempted to hijack the victim’s vehicle. During the incident, the suspects reportedly fired two shots at her car. The South African Police Service (SAPS) was on the scene and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
