At approximately 16:45 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to Lowmanor in Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal after receiving reports of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival a 40 year old woman informed Reaction Officers that as she was about to enter her property when 3 suspects grabbed her handbag. She attempted to resist and one suspect pulled out a firearm and threatened to shoot her. The victims dogs began barking at the suspects who dropped a box which was in their possession and fled the scene with her bag which contained R200 in cash, her bank cards and keys.
The box contained a pair of Sissy Boy and a pair of Guess high heel shoes. The price tag on one of the shoes was R1000. The shoes are suspected to have been stolen.
Reaction Officers patrolled the area in search of the suspects however no arrests were made.
