At 06:33 on Friday morning, 15 May 2020, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M4 Tongaat River North of Durban.
Reports from the scene indicate that the driver of a light motor vehicle lost control resulting in the vehicle leaving the road crashing through the safety barrier coming to rest upside down in the Lagoon.
The patient, an adult female had sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene before being transported by Netcare 911 ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
