He carries the impressive names, “Prince Ishwar Ramlutchman Mabheka Zulu” and even made a nice gesture towards King Goodwill Zwelithini on Heritage Day somewhere in Durban.
The Hawks, however, have now begun an investigation into allegations that he received about R95 million intended for boreholes to be sunk in Natal where severe drought conditions prevailed.
The boreholes were to be sunk in and around Dundee to provide water to the people of the area.
Ishwar Ramlutchman, 42, who is apparently a known fraudster, was designated by the King as the head of the iziNyos regiment and recently made news on the front pages of the media.
The “prince” who is often mistakenly accepted as the son of the Zulu king also calls himself the King’s son.
He is being investigated and faces prosecution for corruption, fraud, and bribery.
