One person has been killed and another is in a serious condition after a shooting incident on Chesham Place in Westville last night.
Around 8pm Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the shooting incident. On their arrival they found one person had already passed away from the injuries sustained. One man was found to have sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body. He was stabilized on the scene by Rescue Care’s Advanced Life Support Paramedic before being transported through to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
At this stage the events leading up to the shooting are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
