Pinetown police arrested wanted fraud suspect Sifiso Wiseman Dlamini, who has been on the run since December 2016. The police have been looking for Dlamini in connection with a number of fraud cases that happened in 2016, Dlamini would lure unsuspecting prospective home buyers tell them he was selling land or property in Nazareth for a minimum amount of R70 000.

The unsuspecting victims deposited sums of money into his bank account with the hope of acquiring property only to realise that they have been defrauded.

He was arrested in his Cliffdale home of Friday and appeared before Pinetown Magistrate court on Monday 14 October 2019. He was remanded in police custody for further investigation. The police would like to appeal to anyone who may have fallen victim of the scam to come forward with more information that may lead to the prosecution of this suspect to come forward and contact Pinetown SAPS on 031 325 5083/ Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
