Theft Of Motor Vehicle Suspects made a narrow escape during the early hours of this morning in the Greenbury Area, Phoenix This comes after an alert resident notified KZNVIP Control centre of some suspicious activities on Greenbury drive
As KZNVIP Approached the location suspects who had stolen a Kia bakkie abandoned the vehicle and fled with a silver polo in the direction of Broadlands Robot, a chase ensued. The suspects who slowed down for no speed hump or traffic signal was eventually lost in B Section Kwa Mashu
The vehicle stolen from Fairlawn was recovered with extensive damage to the ignition, the owner was located and did not wish to register a criminal case and took the vehicle away.
SAPS were informed of the incident…
