An informal shed was completely destroyed and part of a home in Waterloo, Verulam was extensively damaged by an out of control vehicle on Friday 1 May 2020.
At approximately 16:36 members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene after receiving multiple calls from the public reporting the accident. It was established that a blue Toyota Corolla was travelling down Prickle Pear Road when the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The Toyota Corolla veered off the road before it crashed through a wood and iron shed and into a house. The driver was not injured in the accident.
The residence was extensively damaged.
