Two security guards robbed and shot
Two security guards have been shot and wounded during a robbery at the Dellville Woods railway station in the outskirts of Shongweni, KwaZulu-Natal at about 11:20am today.
Reports from the scene indicate that the security guards were being robbed at the time of the shooting.
Netcare 911 paramedics worked alongside the Provincial Emergency Services on scene.
Both security guards were stabilized on scene before they were transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Both security guards are in a serious but stable condition.
No other details have emerged as yet.
