Two people were shot and left with serious injuries during early hours of Sunday morning, 30 September 2018, after an alleged drive by shooting incident which occurred on Foresthaven Drive in Phoenix.
Kzn Vip Medics And Response Units were dispatched to the scene after receiving calls from residents in the area after hearing 3 gunshots outside they home. Upon arrival of Kzn Vip Medics they treated the 2 patients, the first patient was a Male who sustained a gunshot wound to his lower back and a second female patient with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Both patients were stabilised on scene together with the assistance of the EMRS Advanced Life Support Paramedic before being rushed to private hospital by KZN VIP Medics. The cause of the incident is unconfirmed at this stage but the suspect is known to the victims and also alleged to be related to the female victim.
