At 13H20 Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of an electrocution at a site off Inanda road in Newlands East.
Reports from the scene indicate that two adult males were working on overhead power lines when they were both electrocuted.
One of the men sustained serious injuries and the other sustained mild injuries.
Both patients have been treated on scene and have been transported to hospital by another private service for further treatment.
The Ethekwini municipality as well as the Newlands East SAPS were on scene to investigate.
